My love for the outdoors has been lifelong, shaped by growing up surrounded by mountains, lakes, and endless opportunities to explore. Over time, that passion evolved into a business where I’m able to travel, photograph, and tell stories for brands, tourism boards, destinations, and resorts.
This work fills my cup creatively, and The Sarah Guide is an extension of that journey — a place where I can slow down, reflect, and share my experiences through writing. It’s also where my love for planning and discovery comes to life. There’s nothing I enjoy more than helping others craft thoughtful itineraries, discover places worth returning to, and uncover the spots I truly love.

On The Sarah Guide, you’ll find destination-focused travel guides rooted primarily in British Columbia, Canada, the Pacific Northwest, and adventures that extend beyond.
The blog covers hiking and outdoor trails, camping and camp cooking, mountain biking, unique stays and cabins, and thoughtfully curated itineraries designed for real travel planning.
From hidden gems and underrated locations to bucket-list destinations and places worth revisiting, and the best food and drink along the way, everything shared here is curated to help you travel with clarity, confidence, and intention.
Thank you for being here. ♡
